What is Microsoft Copilot?
Microsoft Copilot is Microsoft’s family of generative AI assistants built on top of large language models, your organisational data in Microsoft Graph, and the Microsoft 365 productivity suite. The Copilot family includes Microsoft 365 Copilot (embedded in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Loop), Copilot for Sales, Copilot for Service, Copilot for Finance, Copilot in Dynamics 365, Copilot in Power Platform, Copilot in GitHub, Security Copilot, and the Copilot Studio low-code platform for building your own custom copilots and agents.
Copilot is enterprise-grade. It respects your existing Microsoft 365 permissions, is grounded in your tenant’s data, complies with Australian data residency requirements, and meets the security, compliance, and responsible-AI standards Australian organisations require under the Privacy Act and the Australian Government’s AI Ethics Principles.

Microsoft Copilot Training FAQs
How long does it take to learn Microsoft Copilot?
Most end users become productive with Microsoft 365 Copilot within a single one-day course. Building custom copilots and agents in Copilot Studio typically requires our three-day course plus two to four weeks of guided practice. Power users and IT champions usually complete their pathway in two to three weeks.
Do I need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license to attend?
No. UHS Logic provides a sandbox tenant with the appropriate Copilot licenses for all hands-on labs during training. For ongoing use after the course, your organisation will need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license (sold per user per month) attached to a qualifying Microsoft 365 plan. We can advise on licensing as part of the Copilot Adoption Workshop.
Is Microsoft Copilot safe for Australian businesses to use with sensitive data?
Yes, when configured correctly. Microsoft 365 Copilot inherits your existing Microsoft 365 permissions and sensitivity labels, does not use your prompts or responses to train foundation models, and supports Australian data residency. Our training covers data-handling, sensitivity labelling, DLP, and the controls required for use in regulated industries.
What is the difference between Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Pro, and Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Microsoft Copilot (free) is the general-purpose web chat. Copilot Pro is a consumer paid tier with priority access. Microsoft 365 Copilot is the enterprise SKU that grounds responses in your organisational data and is embedded inside the Microsoft 365 apps. Copilot Studio is the platform for building your own copilots and agents.
Can you build a custom Copilot Agent for our business?
Yes. UHS Logic offers Copilot Studio consulting and agent development as a service in addition to training. We have built agents for HR onboarding, IT helpdesk triage, customer-service knowledge retrieval, and sales-quote generation across Australian organisations.
